Which Cup For You (Quiz)

Needless to say, there is an overwhelming number of menstrual cup companies out there today!  Sometimes it can be hard to decide which cup might be better for you.

Well, fellow cup lovers— there are some online survey-style quizes, which help to determine which menstrual cup might be better for you.  I wanted to share the links to these quizes with everyone, and I hope it helps.  Perhaps you can take both the quizes, and see if there are common answers, for more assurence.  If you find any other good quizes, please let me know, so I can include them in this post:

Just took quiz 1 for fun as I already have a cup……..turns out it recommends the one I wear and love 🙂

I wonder wehther the quiz was intended for people who have already tried out menstrual cups? As a newbie, what I really wanted was advice on what cup would be best for my physical quirks (posterior *and* low cervix). Now if someone could make an algorithm which includes factors like that, it would be GREAT!

      amen!!
I have a really low cervix & since I’m over 30 AND have had a child I went with the MiaCup (plus it’s purple! I’m avoiding clear at all costs, sounds like they’re hard to keep clear)
anywho, I like it but a couple of days it’s even too low, I’ve cut the stem off & sometimes use it inside out which takes another 1/4″ off the ‘height’ of it 🙂 All in all I’m happier with it than a tampon but I just ordered 2 MeLuna’s (they were on sale a package deal!) and I’m super excited to try another ‘short’ cup!
The measurement comparison chart on this blog REALLY helped me decide more than the quiz did! 🙂

the first quiz actually gives you cups in a ranked order the second one doesn’t

I just took quiz 1. Had two diva cups, and ordered a Lunette due to my heavy flow. The quiz recommended lunette, so I am excited to get it. Thanks for the great resource!

I got the cup I have too, but the smaller version! I am over 30 & have had a daughter, but I’m thinking the more narrow one might be a good idea for a few days of my cycle…sometimes I have a hard time getting suction!

I would really appreciate some advice on which cup to try next. I have a Diva2, and it is a literal pain to remove. I do have a heavy flow though and don’t want to go down in capacity more than I have to, but I have to have something that will not hurt so much to remove (insertion is bearable since I can do a fold to make the leading edge smaller). Since you can compare how thick the rims are and how easily they fold together, could you offer any advice on which may be the least painful to remove? I’m considering the SiBell and FleurCup in size small although I’d like more capacity. CupLee is another option with more capacity if I thought that the slightly smaller/softer rim were enough of a difference from the diva to make it less painful, but I just don’t know. I am mid-30s, have had 2 c-sections, and I had to completely cut the stem off the diva because it goes all the way to the bottom of my vagina. I also so have very weak pelvic muscles (all signs that I should use one of the larger cups, but this diva just hurts too much).

I have the opposite problem from Nancy. I have the large Diva cup and i can’t get a strong suction, it slips down and i have to keep pushing it up and if i sneeze or bend over certain ways it really slips down. I love the idea but I would like to know if there is a solution to my issue. the Diva seems to have the largest circumference.
